The prosthetic socket was a project focused on bringing help to the ones who lost a limb. Through process of research I was able to identify that people who lost their limbs a lot of the time resign from wearing a prosthetic on their residual limb due to the ill fitting of the socket that wasn’t able to adapt to the daily changing properties of human body.

This project focused on bringing a comfort of wear to the ones with residual limbs, allowing for the origami like shaped outer structure to expand and contract supporting the proper fit, comfort and pressure around all points the limb. The socket would be equiped with a pressure reading gauges on the inside allowing for a constant change to bring the ultimate comfort of wear.
