Additional Projects for the Metal and Jewelerey course

As I primarily study Product Design these projects are usually not as well documented as the rest of my creations. That doesn’t mean however that they are of less value.

Metalic jaw

This jaw jewelwry was created with intent to wear to a fantasy themed party. It was created using variety of materials including aluminum chain, wire, masking tape and gold spray paint.

This design was inspired by the work of Alexander McQueen SS 1998 and the character design of Finn from Arcane. It was comfortable to wear and is still fully functional, albeit not used very often.

Art deco pin and embroidery

Once again more of a costume piece it was as well an exploration of the art deco style. It was meticolously created using primarily beads for both og the pieces.

Redesign Project

The aim of this project was to design and produce a scale model as well as handmade renders of the object.

My chosen object was the Georgian wire square by Jhan Stanley

I have developed the deep understanding of processes regarding objects made from steel, glass and ceramics and used this knowleadge to showcase my redesign skill for the object.

The full process behind the design can be seen here.

Metal Clamp

The clamp was made using metal drills, milling machine, lathe, saws and other tools. the start products consisted of metal rods and have been machined to a proper fit.
